TAMARAC, Fla. — A 43-year-old Lauderhill man has been charged in connection to a triple-homicide after being arrested Sunday following a statewide AMBER Alert.

Nathan Gingles was initially the subject of a Broward County AMBER Alert after he and his 4-year-old daughter, Seraphina Gingles, went missing Sunday morning. Investigators say he was later located in North Lauderdale with the child, who was safe and unharmed, at around 11 a.m.

During the investigation, the Broward County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to reports of gunshots just after 6 a.m. at a home in the 9700 block of North Grand Duke Circle in Tamarac. There, they found the child's grandfather, 64-year-old David Pozner, suffering from a gunshot wound. He later died at the scene.

The girl's mother, 34-year-old Mary Gingles, was also listed as missing in the Sunday morning AMBER alert. Investigators say she was found shot to death at a home in the 5800 block of North Plum Bay Parkway. Andrew Ferrin, 36, was also found shot to death in the home, a BCSO release said. No information was immediately released on his connection to Mary Gingles.

A Broward County Sheriff's Office dive team reported finding a firearm in a nearby canal that is believed to be connected to both murder scenes.

After being taken into custody following the AMBER Alert investigation, Nathan Gingles was arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree murder with a firearm, violation of a domestic violence injunction and interference with custody.

He was being held without bond at the Broward County Jail.
