Valencia College staff members spent much of Thanksgiving hard at work preparing food.

These meals are part of a delivery being served at the Salvation Army Orlando.

“There are people who are struggling with a tough economy, grocery prices, gas prices, to be able to come to the Salvation Army for a well-cooked hot meal, and also people who are lonely, we can sit down and talk and pray with them, council with them, it’s the best day ever here in Orlando,” Major Ken Chapman with The Salvation Army Orlando said.

The event has been going on for many years.
