ORLANDO, Fla. — After 16 years, Hamburger Mary’s in Orlando announced they are leaving their Church Street location.
In a Facebook post, they announced June 2 will be their last day at 110 W. Church Street in downtown Orlando.
The LGBTQ+ owned business began in 2008 and has “celebrated more birthdays, engagements, bachelorette parties, weddings, and girls or guys night out than we could ever count.”
With business slowing in the downtown area, the owners decided it was time to move.
“The hustle and bustle of downtown Orlando has given way to a sleepy city with few people working downtown and opting for remote, and less traffic in the evenings,” they said on Facebook.
The owners are looking to relocate and are in discussions with a few different venues.
“We are in negotiations/talks with a couple of venues that we feel will be an excellent fit for our brand. However, if anyone knows of a space that you think looks like a good fit for Mary's, we are all ears,” they said in their Facebook post.
The owners thank the community for the years of support and look forward to what’s next for Hamburger Mary’s.
