ORLANDO, Fla. — A local Vietnamese family is dishing up authentic Vietnamese cuisine in Orlando.

Huong Viet — which means “the flavor of Vietnam” — is nestled within Westside Crossings on W. Colonial.

Chef Eddie Hui says the Vietnamese community in Central Florida is getting stronger, especially since he moved here in 2004.

“It has been growing really, really fast,” he said. “There are so many Vietnamese immigrants coming here.”

At Huong Viet, he serves cuisine popular in both North and South Vietnam. Eddie has been cooking since 1980 and he looks forward to meeting new patrons.
