ORLANDO, Fla. — SeaWorld Orlando announced the launch of their Seven Seas Food Festival 5K Fun Run on Tuesday, set as part of the theme park's 60th anniversary celebration.
The Fun Run will wind its way through the park's attractions such as Sesame Street Land, Orca Stadium, Infinity Falls, the Mako coaster, Shark Plaza, Dolphin Stadium, Key West and Wild Arctic, SeaWorld officials said. Participants of all ages are welcome to run, jog or stroll through the pathways of the park.
For younger racers, there will be a run for kids ages 7 and under. Along the route, kids will encounter photo opportunities and special surprises, officials said.
Officials also said that following the race, participants and guests will have the chance to enjoy an end-of-race Seven Seas celebration exclusive to racers and a limited number of spectators, along with a special day-of ticket offer to explore the park. As an added bonus, the first 200 registered participants will receive a complimentary Seven Seas Food Festival 5-punch Food & Beverage lanyard, valid during event days through May 19.
Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, which will feature annual passes to SeaWorld Orlando. There will also be a clock at the finish line for racers to view their times.
The inaugural event will be held on Saturday, May 4.
