Christmas is right around the corner, and now is the time where most people are doing their holiday shopping.
Back in the day, everybody went to the malls to buy their gifts, and you had to be on the lookout for thieves who might try to pick your pocket or steal gifts out of your car.
Today, with the explosion of home shopping and delivery, the potential for being scammed has moved online, and wherever you enter your credit card and personal information could be subject to thievery, not to mention the proliferation of “porch pirates,” who steal Amazon boxes (among others) right off of your front porch.
