Florida's manufacturing sector is experiencing unprecedented growth, with over 427,600 jobs reported in May 2024 (an increase of 6,900 jobs over the year).

This represents the 37th consecutive increase since April 2021.

The sector’s GDP per FloridaCommerce’s inaugural Florida Manufacturing Report contributes over $73 billion to the state's economy annually, making it a significant driver of economic growth and stability.

Central Florida’s contribution to that GDP is $3.86 billion and East Central (Space Coast area) is $15.84 billion. Despite its importance, the manufacturing sector often goes unnoticed by the public.
