1. Person of interest arrested in UnitedHealthcare CEO killing, police say
Luigi Mangione, 26, was arrested on firearms charges, NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said at a news briefing.

2. TikTok asks federal appeals court to bar enforcement of potential ban until Supreme Court review
If the law is not overturned, both TikTok and its parent company ByteDance have said the popular app will shut down by mid-January.

3. Volusia County Sheriff's Office launches 'Project Lifesaver' to prevent drowning deaths among autistic kids
Any child or adult enrolled in Project Lifesaver will wear a small personal transmitter around the wrist or ankle that emits an individualized tracking signal.

4. Volusia County closes Hurricane Milton debris drop-off sites
County crews and contractors will continue collecting debris in unincorporated areas and along county-maintained roads.

5. FDOT reopens lane on State Road 436 in construction area to help ease congestion near Altamonte Mall
FDOT says they still expect "occasional intermittent closures to complete work in specific areas.”
