- Residents in unincorporated areas can call the debris hotline at 833-843-2985 for removal service
The county established the sites to help residents dispose of storm-related debris, but demand has significantly decreased in recent weeks.

- Tomoka Landfill, 1990 Tomoka Farms Rd., Port Orange

County crews and contractors will continue collecting debris in unincorporated areas and along county-maintained roads.
So far, the county has cleared more than 315,000 cubic yards of debris. Officials expect all debris removal to be completed by the end of the year, well ahead of Gov. Ron DeSantis’ Jan. 11 FEMA reimbursement deadline.
Residents in unincorporated areas who still have debris can call the debris hotline at 833-843-2985 — open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Citizens living within city limits should contact their local government for debris removal service.
FEMA has also extended the closing date for its Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) at the John H. Dickerson Community Center, 308 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Daytona Beach.
They initially intended to close the center on Saturday, Dec. 7, but have extended it through Saturday, Dec. 14, because of high demand.
The center operates daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
