The land, based on DreamWorks Animation’s trilogy, “How to Train Your Dragon,” will be one of five worlds featured at Universal Epic Universe.

Universal Orlando officials said at How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, visitors can experience themed attractions, character meet-and-greets and food and shopping — along with flying dragons.

“Guests visiting Berk will encounter one of the most breathtaking environments Universal has ever created — complete with immense architecture featuring hand-carved details, lush landscaping, and extraordinary heights of rolling hills surrounding vibrant dragon houses and local establishments,” Universal Orlando described the new land in a statement.

Here are more details about what to expect at How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, per Universal Orlando, which will include four attractions, one live show and a number of character and dragon meet-and-greets:

  • Hiccup’s Wing Gliders: Guests can fly on a dragon in this family thrill roller coaster with characters Hiccup and Toothless on a glider contraption — a winged flying machine that launches into the sky for a dragon’s eye view of Berk. Reach speeds up to 45 mph while soaring around the land and lagoon.
  • The Untrainable Dragon: Inspired by Universal Beijing Resort’s “Untrainable” show, which features characters Hiccup, Toothless, Gobber and Astrid as they solve the mystery of The Untrainable Dragon. Guests can enjoy musical numbers, themed sets and life-sized dragons soaring above.
  • Fyre Drill: Viking twins Ruffnut and Tuffnut invite teams to compete to outscore and out-soak each other on a wet-and-wild boat battle. Visitors can board a dragon-headed boat and blast water cannons at flame-like targets to practice putting out fires.

  • Dragon Racer’s Rally: Practice aerobatic maneuvers and high-speed barrel rolls on two Viking-made dragon-riding trainers, which reach up to 67 feet in the air. Visitors are able to control how “wild” or “mild” their experience will be.
  • Viking Training Camp: Junior Vikings can climb, slide and explore through this interactive adventure play camp, which includes a Viking agility course, a Toothless-themed teeter-totter, baby Gronckle dragon climbers and more.
  • Meet Hiccup and Toothless: At the Haddock Paddock, there will be a meet-and-greet with characters Hiccup and Toothless. Visitors can also expect to see other Vikings and dragons roaming around Berk.

  • Spit Fyre Grill: A quick-service dining location that overlooks the Fyre Drill water attraction, which features hearty meals “flame-seared by a helpful (unseen) dragon fry cook.”
  • Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel: Quick bites at a racing-themed food stand located in the Viking Camp.
