  • King is facing backlash after a profanity-filled performance during a Dolly Parton tribute at the Grand Ole Opry

King, who was originally set to perform at the event on Feb. 17, has been removed from the concert lineup following a profanity-filled performance in Nashville.

Singer-songwriter Nessa Barrett is now listed on the schedule, joining other Mardi Gras headliners such as DJ Khaled, Queen Latifah, The All-American Rejects and Luis Fonsi. The concerts, which are included with park admission, will be held at the Music Plaza Stage at Universal Studios Florida.

Earlier this month, King performed at the Grand Ole Opry as part of tribute to country music legend Dolly Parton. In a video posted online, the 34-year-old singer appeared to be slurring her words while on stage, using profanity and telling the crowd she was “hammered.”

The Grand Ole Opry issued an apology on social media following the performance. “We deeply regret and apologize for the language that was used during last night’s second Opry performance,” read the post.

Since then King, who is the daughter of comedian Rob Schneider, rescheduled some of her upcoming shows. King’s next performance is on March 1 at the Extra Innings Festival in Tempe, Ariz., according to her official website
