On Monday, Disney shared more details about its holiday plans for its theme parks as it prepares to make the switchover for the festivities.
Jollywood Nights, the new separate ticket at Hollywood Studios, will debut Nov. 11 and run select nights through Dec. 10.
It will include the nighttime spectacular “Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam,” character meet-and-greets and a new lineup of live entertainment.
Disney shared artwork for two of the shows that will run during the event. “Disney Holidays in Hollywood,” located at the Theater of the Stars, is a variety show starring Mickey, Minnie, Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Belle and Tiana.
The show features music, dancing and a new original show performed by Tiana.
On the other side of the park, the theater that houses the Frozen Sing-Along, will be transformed for “What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along” show starring Jack Skellington and other characters from the 1993 film.
Mickey, Minnie and their friends will also sport new looks during Jollywood Nights, Disney revealed in a first look photo on Monday.
“The new outfits are inspired by the party’s vintage vibe, which celebrates the glitz and glam of Hollywood,” according to a post on the Disney Parks Blog. “Art directors, show producers and designers worked together to land on just the right combination of colors and fabric for these special looks.”
Over at Magic Kingdom, a new nightly castle show called “Frozen Holiday Surprise,” will debut Nov. 7.
The projection show will feature Olaf and his Snowgie siblings trying to decorate the castle with festive decor before receiving help from Elsa, who will appear on stage alongside Anna and Kristoff.
Elsewhere, Festival of the Holidays will return to EPCOT on Nov. 24. In addition to holiday kitchens and the Candlelight Processional, the park will have holiday decor tied to the Disney100 celebration.
The park’s new nighttime spectacular “Luminous the Symphony of Us will debut Dec. 5.
Animal Kingdom will also get into the holiday spirit with the return of the Merry Menagerie—life-sized puppets of winter animals that interact with visitors.
Disney Springs will begin sporting holiday decor on Nov. 10 and visitors can again look for nearly 20 Disney-themed trees on the Christmas Tree Stroll.
