ORLANDO, Fla. — Disney World has revealed the dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which returns to the Magic Kingdom this holiday season.

​​​The after-hours, separately-ticketed event, which was not held last year, will kick off November 8 and run select nights through December 22, Disney announced Thursday.

The event will include a lineup of festive activities and offerings, including “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration” stage show, “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” nighttime spectacular, and “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade,” which will feature Santa along with Mickey Mouse and friends.

There will also be a number of dance parties, including “Disney Junior Jingle Jame” over at Storybook Circus.

Disney will also add holiday overlays to several attractions, including Jungle Cruise (which will become Jingle Cruise), Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor and Mad Tea Party.

Attendees will also be treated to complimentary cookies and hot cocoa at select locations throughout the park.

And new this year, the event will have three special photo opportunities that celebrate Disney World’s 50th anniversary.

Tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will go on sale starting July 7, and pricing will range from $149 to $199 per person.

The Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party announcement came as part of Disney’s Halfway to the Holidays promotion. The company also revealed holiday plans for Disney World’s other theme parks.

At Epcot, Festival of the Holidays will begin November 25. The event will include the Candlelight Processional at the America Gardens Theatre. Celebrity narrators have not yet been announced.

The park’s newest attraction will also join in on the holiday festivities. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, which opened last month, will get a holiday playlist.

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” will receive a festive finale.

And at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Merry Menagerie of artisan-sculpted puppets will return.

Beyond the parks, the Christmas Tree Stroll will return to Disney Springs.
