BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is now offering visitors more ways to learn about the history of space exploration at the facility.

The complex has launched two new bus tours—the Cape Canaveral Early Space Tour and the Cape Canaveral Rise to Space Tour.
The Cape Canaveral Early Space Tour, which begins at the Air Force Space & Missile Museum at Pad 26 and ends at the Apollo/Saturn V Center, includes access to the sites of the Mercury and Gemini launches, seaside launch pads and the memorial site for the Apollo 1 crew.
The tour runs Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays and costs $25 plus tax for adults and $19 plus tax for children ages 3 to 11.
For the Cape Canaveral Rise to Space Tour, visitors will get access to restricted areas. With a space expert as their guide, visitors will venture to historic launch sites, the Sands Space History Center and the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse and Hanger C.
The tour will also offer the chance to see artifacts like the Atlas missile, the Firebird missile, and Gemini and Apollo boiler plates.
The Rise to Space Tour, which runs Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, costs $75 per person. For this tour, visitors must be 14 years of age or older.
Tickets must be purchased at least five days in advance.
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex requires all visitors, regardless of vaccination status, to wear face masks in all indoor locations such as attraction, show viewing areas and buses. Masks can be removed when actively eating or drinking.
