FLORIDA — With over two million people without power across the state following Hurricane Milton, Charter Communications is now doing what it can to restore services to over one million Charter customers.

Right now, Charter Communications is assessing infrastructure from the Gulf Coast of Florida to the Atlantic coast.

While crews work to make repairs, Charter has opened up 45,000 access points across the state to help customers stay connected.

Over 2,000 employees are on the ground, working around the clock to restore service safely with downed trees on power lines across the state.

“We are working with our local and state governments, the emergency operation centers, we are talking to power companies, we are staying connected with our front-line employees like those with me here right now so we have a calculated and coordinated effort to execute our strategy to restore services as quickly and safely as possible,” Regional V.P. of Field Operations for Charter Communications Chris Snyder said.

Following Hurricane Helene, Charter Communications donated $1 million to help with recovery efforts.

Today, the company announced they are donating another $400,000 to impacted communities following Milton.
