VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — The Port Orange Police Department is warning residents of a pothole that opened Wednesday on Victoria Gardens Boulevard near Dunlawton Avenue.

The large pothole formed close to the Applebee's entrance in the middle of the road, and could impact traffic on Thursday morning.

Police are asking drivers to use alternate routes as crews work to repair the roadway.

Cones and barricades are also in place to assist with traffic.
