Lake Mary, representing the Southeast, jumped out to a 4-0 lead against the Mountain Region team from Nevada and held on to earn its spot with a 6-3 victory.

In Saturday's title game, Lake Mary will take on the team from Boerne, Texas, which is representing the Southwest Region. The game is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ABC.
Lake Mary tallied up five victories against the Midwest, Northwest, Metro, West and Mountain regions on the way to the U.S. title game. To get the American championship, Lake Mary will have to get payback against Boerne, Texas, which handed it a 4-1 loss back on Aug. 19 and forced the Florida boys to keep winning to avoid being ousted in double-elimination. Boerne has won all three of its games.
"It feels great to get to the U.S. Championship Game, to have the opportunity to redeem ourselves against Texas," Lake Mary Little League All-Stars manager Jonathan Anderson said. "The goal to be here was to get to this game, so we're very close to the goal."
The winner of Saturday's game will go on to play the winner of the International Championship Game for the overall Little League World Series championship on Sunday. The Asia-Pacific and the Latin America regions are playing for the international title.
