ORLANDO — The Tampa Bay Lightning will play host to the Florida Panthers in an NHL preseason game at Amway Center at 7 p.m. Oct. 3, the Lightning and the Orlando Solar Bears announced Friday.

“We are thrilled to welcome the Tampa Bay Lightning back to the Amway Center for their preseason contest,” said Solar Bears President Chris Heller.

The date tickets for the game will go on sale will be announced soon. Exclusive presales to Lightning, Solar Bears and Orlando Magic season ticket-holders, as well as Magic Premium Members will be offered. 

The game will mark the Bolts’ fifth exhibition at Amway Center, the last of which was Oct. 5, 2021 against the Panthers.

The Solar Bears have been the ECHL — formerly the East Coast Hockey League — affiliate of the three-time Stanley Cup champion Lightning since the start of the 2018-19 season.
