Aug. 23, mark it down. Florida voters head to the polls for the primary election.
For the partisan races, it’s like a playoff system to see who advances to the final in November. So many races on the ballots, well more than 100 contests that Central Florida voters will see on their ballot, among them, the Democratic race for attorney general.
The winner of the Democratic primary will face Republican incumbent Ashley Moody in November. The three Democrats in that race are:
- Former State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orange and Osceola County Aramis Ayala.
- Attorney Daniel Uhlfelder from Santa Rosa Beach, up in the Panhandle. He was a guest in last week’s Beyond the Soundbite podcast.
- Fort Lauderdale criminal defense attorney Jim Lewis, who is our guest on this week’s Central Florida: Beyond the Soundbite.
