WORCESTER, Mass. - The Assumption Men's Lacrosse team is off to the best start in program history, the Hounds are 8-2 and receiving votes in the top 20, it's been a total team effort from past and present Hounds. "Yeah historic start for us," said Head Coach Guy Bourdon, "and I think the biggest thing for us is we play with consistency, the young guys have grown up rather quickly and our older guys have been phenominal mentors to help them develop along the way."
"The guys that came before me it's been kind of tough times," said Captain Trent Sargent, 'not the best start in previous years but this year we really kicked it off well, we started strong. I'm up here talking right now but it's really about the team, these guys come in and work hard day in and day out."
"Yeah I mean me and the other grad students have been through a lot here," said Captain, Brady McNulty, "slow starts in the past not winning seasons, and I think every year we've kind of known we're building to something special here and it kind of came to fruition a little bit. But it's mostly because the guys who were here before me."
