SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Across Central Florida crowds gathered to watch the inauguration, many celebrating President Trump’s return to the White House for a second term.
Several watch parties were held locally, with people eager to hear what the president had to say on day one.
“This is a first for me, the experience was awesome,” Alan Rigdon, a President Trump supporter, said.
An estimated 1,000 people came to watch President Trump’s inauguration at Decision Tactical, a local indoor theme park.
It was so busy, though, that many people had to be turned away. Management could only let 500 people in.
“I’m blown away by the whole thing. The line was all around the parking lot and we were pleasantly surprised and a little terrified because it was that many people that we had to deal with, which was more than we ever expected,” Remo Eyal, CEO of Decision Tactical said.
For the people who made it out on January 20, they could not contain their excitement.
“It was fantastic, the energy in here, the positivity in here, it was worth it,” Jennifer Palmer, a President Trump supporter, said.
Eyal says people started to line up for this event around 8:30 a.m.
He said the day was all about bringing the community together.
“We’re obviously patriotic. It’s not a partisan thing, regardless of which position, we’re a Democracy and we’re here to support that. We hope people come see who we are,” Eyal said.
