ORLANDO, Fla. — Four days. Twenty shows. Local and international artists are in Orlando for a wintertime mini-Fringe showcase.

  1. The Orlando Fringe is touted as the longest-running Fringe in the United States. It gives artists a chance to show off their talents, and ticket sales go right back to them.

  2. For the seventh year, the once-dubbed “Winter Mini-Fest” is now FESTN4, giving audiences a sampling of what’s in store with the Fringe circuit.

  3. Adam Delmedico is the creator of the 2023 Critic’s Choice Best Ensemble Orlando Fringe show called “Your Mom is in my Top 8: A Pop-Punk Celebration.” “It’s just an opportunity to present something you probably couldn’t do anywhere else,” Delmedico said.

  4. The show will take place at the Fringe ArtSpace on Church Street before it closes in February. Orlando Fringe said it’s forced to become nomadic again. Rent is too high, and funding is low. “Even though we’re getting rid of our year-round space, we’re not going away by any means,” said Orlando Fringe Artistic Director Tempestt Halstead. “We’re just going deeper into the things we’re really good at.”

  5. FESTN4 is happening Thursday, Jan. 9 through Sunday, Jan. 12, at Fringe Artspace in Orlando.
