ORLANDO, Fla. — For the fifth time, Orlando’s Leu Gardens is transformed into Dazzling Nights.

1. This year, experience Luminary Trail. It’s one of 15 huge light displays at Dazzling Nights, according to Creative City Project artistic director Cole NeSmith. The structures in this section are 34-feet high. “So much of this is inspired by the floral and natural patterns of Mexican culture,” NeSmith said.

2. NeSmith and his team started Dazzling Nights five years ago because they wanted to create connectivity. “(We want to) create environments where people can make memories because that’s what life is, right?”

3. Inside the rose garden at Leu Gardens is Dazzling Nights’ tallest tree yet, at 50 feet. Steps away is a light tunnel of multiple 14-foot stars.

4. This year, they also have a forest of trees that light up with holiday greetings from around the world.

5. Creative City Project employs nearly 100 people for this event alone. Dazzling Nights runs through Jan. 5.
