An architectural firm is proposing the town of Manlius spend up to $12 million to renovate and build an addition onto its town hall.
After taxpayer pushback against purchasing land for a new town hall, the town engaged VIP Architectural Associates to see what could be done to the current site. The firm found aging infrastructure and facility issues as the size of the town and its needs have grown.
The proposed upgrade would get the building up to code, according to the firm, while making the building more accessible.
