FLORIDA — Florida is participating in winter for the start of the week with below average temperatures, which means many water parks are closed for a few days.

Highs hit the mid-60s on Monday and will only reach the upper 50s and lower 60s on Tuesday as more arctic air moves across Central Florida.

In Orlando, SeaWorld’s Aquatica is closed Monday and Tuesday due to the cold weather, Disney’s Blizzard Beach is closed through Wednesday while Universal’s Volcano Bay is closed through Thursday.

If you plan to visit the theme parks, they are operating as normal.

Make sure to check the water parks’ websites for updates on closures and opening hours.
