FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — Residents across Central Florida are still reeling from the effects of Hurricane Milton.
Flagler County resident Sue Goldberg says work is actively being done to repair her home.
She is one of the homeowners in the state with an uncommon feature — a basement, and she says that after Milton, it's in rough shape.

“They started pulling out the drywall and the insulation," Goldberg said. "They’ve got a couple of more days to go and then they start spraying to get rid of the mold spores. Then we have to put it all back together again."
Goldberg hopes she never has to go through something like Milton ever again.
“Everyone be safe if there’s another storm coming," she said. "I just keep saying it’s not invited to Florida."
