FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — Flagler County residents should be aware of some road closures on Monday, Nov. 11, as the Flagler Veterans Day Parade gets underway in the city of Bunnell.
Flagler County officials said specific sections of E. Moody Boulevard (SR 100) and surrounding roads will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic during the event.
Road Closure Details:
E. Moody Boulevard (SR 100) will be closed from US 1 to N. Palmetto Street between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. This closure affects access to the following streets:
Fig Street (North & South)
Dr. Carter Boulevard
Orange Street (North & South)
Honor Way
Peach Street (North & South)
Bacher Street (North & South)
Anderson Street (North & South)
Moore Street (North & South)
Mayor Street (North & South)
Cherry Street (North & South)
Pine Street (North & South)
Church Street (North & South)
Chapel Street (North & South)
Howe Street
Detour Routes:
Vehicles on U.S. 1 needing to access SR 100 will be detoured to Belle Terre Boulevard.
Westbound traffic on SR 100 needing to access U.S. 1 will be detoured via N. Palmetto Street to E. Lambert Street, then back to U.S. 1.
Road Reopening:
All roads will reopen to regular traffic shortly after the parade concludes, at approximately 11:30 a.m.
Event Information:
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early and use available parking along the parade route. This event is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and honor our veterans.
