District 1 election

  • Incumbent | Laura Hine
    • Term ends | Nov. 19, 2024

Candidates running for District 1: 

  • Laura Hine
    • Laura Hine was first elected to the Pinellas County School Board in November 2020 and currently serves as Chair. 
  • Danielle Marolf
    • Danielle Marolf has called Pinellas County home for 24 years. She and her husband Brad have been married for 28 years, and have raised their children here, where they attended public, fundamental, and private schools. In all three school environments, Danielle volunteered heavily.

District 4 election

Candidates running for District 4: 

  • Eileen Long
    • Eileen M. Long, was elected to the School Board in 2016. Mrs. Long is a graduate of Seminole High School. She earned her degree in Special Education from the University of South Florida and has added Reading and ESOL to her teaching certificate. 
  • Erika Picard
    • Erika Picard, a proud product of Pinellas County Schools in Palm Harbor, is a dedicated and experienced professional running for a seat on the Pinellas County School Board.

District 5 election

    • Term Ends | Nov. 19, 2024

Candidates running for District 5:

  • Katie Blaxberg
    • One size doesn’t fit every child - she has had a child in private school, public school, and she has been a homeschool parent. She understands the need for parents to have the right to choose.
  • Brad DeCorte
    • Brad DeCorte is currently in his twenty-second-year teaching English at Tarpon Springs Middle School. A product of public schools, Brad graduated from Bridgeport High School in Bridgeport, Michigan.
  • Stacy Geier
    • Stacy Geier is a long-time resident of Pinellas County. Growing up in a single parent home made her determined to make the best out of tough situations and to seek ways to create strong families.
