ORLANDO, Fla. — Police on Monday identified the victim of a deadly shooting in downtown Orlando early Sunday as Terry Shawn Rivers, 35.

Police responded to reports of a shooting at 2:13 a.m. Sunday at the parking garage located at 2 South Orange Ave., which is near the intersection with West Central Boulevard.

The incident happened on the first level of a parking garage, and one witness said he heard about 25 gunshots before police responded.

Police said they found the victim in the driver's seat of a car that crashed into the building at 20 North Orange Ave. He was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

The incident was isolated, and there is no current threat in the area, police said.
