ORLANDO, Fla. — Come and enjoy TooJay’s New York-style deli.
Chef Brett Carper, the director of Operations at Toojay’s Gourmet Deli for 15 years, is showing off his potato pancakes in nacho form.
You’re hard-pressed to find these throughout Central Florida, but here, it’s a staple.
“It is a staple. Also known as latkes,” he says.
What’s needed:
- Shredded potato
- Spices, including garlic, dried parsley
- Minced white onion
- Eggs
Put it in a pan, flip, chop and then put them in the fryer. Put some cheese and bacon on top and warm it up.
Then enjoy the Triple J.
It is roast beef, corned beef, turkey, Swiss cheese, coleslaw, all rolled up in Rye bread, Russian dressing, and a fresh roll-up look.
