ORLANDO, Fla. — The Pro Bowl is back.

Officials with Florida Citrus Sports announced Tuesday the National Football League's Pro Bowl event, billed as the Pro Bowl Games, is returning to Orlando.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024.

Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings says the last Pro Bowl in Orlando in 2020 brought more than $45 million in economic impact to Central Florida.

Last season, the Pro Bowl Games is a series of skills competitions and non-contact flag football games, rather than an actual tackle football game.

Previously, the NFL’s All-Star contest and festivities were held in Orlando from 2017 to 2020. The 2021 game was canceled due to COVID-19 but Pro Bowl festivites were held in its place.

The Orlando games, held at Camping World Stadium, had solid crowds with an announced 60,834 attendance in 2017. The other three events each had an announced crowd of more than 51,000 fans.

Still, the NFL moved the event to Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium in 2022.
