MARION COUNTY, Fla. — Marion County Utilities on Wednesday lifted a boil water notice for customers in the communities of the Bluefields, Delcrest, Fort King Forest, Hi Cliff and Sleepy Hollow.
The notice was announced Monday because of an emergency repair to a water main.
Testing was conducted on water supplies, and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection reported satisfactory results for the required bacteriological surveys.
Customers in those locations no longer need to boil water or use bottled water when cooking, drinking and brushing their teeth.
