ORLANDO, Fla. — If you received damage from hurricanes Helene and Milton, the deadline for receiving financial assistance from FEMA has been extended.
Florida residents have until Tuesday, Jan. 7 to get in their claims. You can apply by stopping at a disaster recovery center or online at disasterassistance.gov.
There, you can also check on your claim status.
