ORLANDO, Fla. — A new kids’ play area and themed events are coming to Aquatica Orlando this year, SeaWorld announced Wednesday.

The all-new water play area, Turi’s Kid Cove, features watering palms, tipping buckets, spraying jets, water bubbles, and the Tamariki Twirl water slide. The new play area, between Big Surf Shores and Mango Market, will open this spring.
The water park, named #1 in the nation according to the USA Today 10Best Reader’s Choice Awards, is also offering new events this year, including the return of Beach Nights, Aloha to Summer and Celebrating 15 years of Fun.
March 1 - 15, the water park “Celebrates 15 years of Fun” for 15 days with “fun surprises and even a free gift for Pass Members.”
Aloha to Summer, held every Saturday and Sunday in May, kicks off summer with extended park hours until 8 p.m. and exclusive early entry for Pass Members.
Back by popular demand, Fiesta Aquatica celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month from Sept. 16 - Oct. 15. The event, included with park admission, features Latin music and food every Saturday and Sunday.
Beach Nights return every Saturday from October through December for family-friendly movies and games on Orlando’s largest beach. Popcorn, food, snacks, hot chocolate and drinks are available for purchase at Kura’s Beachside Panini.
