BAY LAKE, Fla.— Disney World has begun rolling out Hey, Disney!, the Alexa-powered digital voice assistant, in select hotel rooms.

The device, which can help with park planning, is available in a limited number of rooms at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort before Disney expands it to other resorts on property.
With Hey, Disney!, guests can get answers to their park questions, such as showtimes for the fireworks, or even make housekeeping requests.
As part of the announcement, Disney shared a video showing the device in action. It also can be used as an alarm or to play music and Disney trivia.
The device, which was developed by Disney from the ground up, features original character voice recordings and audio as well as more than 1,000 “magical interactions.”
Hey, Disney! is a complimentary feature and is optional — guests don’t have to use the device and can have it removed from their room.
