MILWAUKEE — Imagine Dragons will headline Summerfest with AJR on July 8, 2023, Summerfest officials announced Monday.

They’ll play in the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on the last day of the festival.

Imagine Dragons is only the second headliner to be announced. In last October, Summerfest announced that Zac Brown Band would headline on Friday, June 23, 2023.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 18 at 10 a.m. You can purchase them on the Summerfest website or on Ticketmaster.com, or in-person at the Summerfest Box Office.

Tickets include admission to the festival on the day of the show, which runs for three weekends in 2023, from Thursdays-Saturdays, on June 22-24, June 29-July 1, and July 6-8. Next year, the festival will mark its 55th anniversary.

General Admission and special 3-day and 9-day passes to Summerfest are already on sale.

Imagine Dragons stands out as “the only band in history to earn four RIAA Diamond singles,” such as the infamous “Radioactive” and “Believer.” Since 2009, they’ve redefined rock in the 21st century.

Since 2012, the indie pop trio AJR has generated billions of streams and re-envisioned what pop can be. Their album “Neotheater” marked their biggest first-week debut, earning #8 on the Billboard Top 200.
