KENNEDY SPACE CENTER — NASA was forced to scrub the uncrewed Artemis I to the moon for the second time this week, due to a separate liquid hydrogen leak.

NASA officials said during a late Saturday afternoon teleconference that the next launch may not be until late September or perhaps in October and that they need to fix the leak first.
All Saturday morning, NASA engineers went through several different trouble shooting methods to address a liquid hydrogen leak in a cavity in the quick disconnect where the flight side and ground side plates join.
Engineers finally recommended a “no go” on the second launch attempt of the Artemis launch, with NASA finally announcing a scrub, the second one this week.
During the first launch attempt Monday, engine-related issues and a different liquid hydrogen leak.
Saturday's two-hour launch window was set to open at 2:17 p.m. EDT.
