Summer House on the Lake, a concept from Chicago-based restaurant group Lettuce Entertain You, is set to open on the complex’s West Side next year.
“Secrets out! Summer House on the Lake makes its @disneysprings debut in 2023,” the company announced on the Instagram account for its Summer House Santa Monica restaurant.
Although details about the menu for the Disney Springs location haven’t been released, other Summer House restaurants serve California-inspired cuisine.
Summer House on the Lake replaces Beatrix, the restaurant the group previously planned for the former site of Bongos Cuban Cafe, a spokesperson confirmed to Spectrum News. The project was paused in 2020 because of the pandemic.
The restaurant will be located near the AMC Theatres and just across from the new Salt & Straw ice cream shop.
