FDOT says motorists should expect intermittent delays Saturday across the entire 21-mile project from Kirkman Road in Orange County to State Road 434 in Seminole County.

This is all ahead of the opening of the new express lanes.

FDOT says that's expected to be open by the end of the month.

The addition of the express lanes is expected to relieve about 20 percent of current traffic congestion.

Toll prices are expected to start at 50 cents per section.

Totaling $3.50 one way.

However project leaders say the cost of those tolls could vary based on demand.
