ORLANDO, Fla. — A small fire broke out at Magic Kingdom Tuesday night, Disney World confirmed.

The fire was located near Cinderella Castle and prompted the evacuation of guests from the building.

According to officials, the fire occurred in a mulched area next to the castle. It was quickly extinguished using a fire extinguisher, according to Disney, and no guests were injured. Disney later said a cast member was transported from the park as a non-emergency. 

Reedy Creek Fire Department responded to the fire, but by the time crews arrived the fire had already been put out, according to department spokesperson Eryka Washington.

Photos and videos shared on social media showed emergency vehicles entering the park and traveling down Main Street U.S.A. to reach the area where the fire occurred. 

Cast members also directed park guests away from the area before firefighters arrived.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
