ORLANDO, Fla. – The large Olympic rings will be making stops at Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood ahead of the Tokyo Games.

The interactive rings display will at Universal Studios Hollywood from July 3-4 and at Universal Studios Florida from July 16-17. The rings, while displayed on its mobile platform, stands at 13 feet tall.

The rings are part of NBC’s “Rings Across America” tour, which will cover 8,000 miles and include stops in other U.S. cities including Chicago, Miami, Washington, D.C. and New York City.

“We’re very excited to launch Rings Across America ahead of the Tokyo Olympics, including stops at our incredibly popular theme parks in Los Angeles and Orlando,” said Lyndsay Signor, senior VP of consumer engagement for NBC Sports, in a statement. “Displaying the Rings, one of the most recognizable symbols of the Olympic movement, across the country in addition to making stops in six major markets, will raise awareness and excitement leading to the opening ceremony.”

The Toyko Games, which were postponed in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, will officially begin July 23 and run through August 8.
