Legendary former Florida State University football coach Bobby Bowden has been released from the hospital after 10 days of treatment for COVID-19, the Tallahassee Democrat newspaper reported.

Bowden, 90, left Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare on Thursday, the newspaper said this week.
His symptoms have included a fever, deep cough, and loss of appetite, the Democrat reported.
“I didn’t want to eat anything,” the newspaper quoted Bowden as saying Tuesday. “But now I have my hunger back and feeling pretty good.”
Bowden tested positive for the coronavirus early this month during a hospital stay for a leg infection, reports said. The coach said he felt fine at the time and was released from the hospital.
Saying he felt tired, Bowden was re-admitted early last week, and his wife and family said he’d stay there until he got stronger, reports said.
Of the coronavirus, Bowden told the Democrat: “Stay away from it. Don’t test it because it’s no fun.”
