ORLANDO, Fla. – Two Broadway musical hits are making a triumphant return to Orlando for the 2020-21 season.

  • Hamilton, Wicked returning to Dr. Phillips Center
  • The shows will be part of the 2020-21 Broadway lineup
  • More shows will be announced on February 20

Hamilton and Wicked are among the shows that will be performed at the Dr. Phillips Center for the performing arts, the venue announced Wednesday.

Both productions will run for multiple weeks, Dr. Phillips Center said.

The upcoming season will also feature other shows, which will be announced on February 20. Season subscribers will be able to renew that day starting at 7 p.m. Hamilton will be included as an option in their subscriptions. Wicked will be available as a season add-on.

When tickets went on sale for Hamilton's first run in Orlando, overwhelming demand caused the Dr. Phillips Center website to crash.

Dr. Phillips Center, which is undergoing an expansion, is set to debut the Steinmetz Hall and Green Room later this year.
