- Regal Eagle replaces Liberty Inn in the American Adventure pavilion
Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue is set to open "soon" at the American Adventure pavilion.
The patriotic Muppets character will be featured prominently on the restaurant's sign as well as décor. Sam Eagle will be the host of a centennial cook-off at the restaurant, which will be a "salute to all cook-offs but mostly barbecue," according to Disney.
The menu will include classic backyard barbecue selections from around the U.S., including Kansas City smoked chicken, Memphis dry-rub pork ribs, Texas beef brisket and North Carolina chopped smoked pork butt. Also included on the menu will be burgers, fries, onion rings and plant-based options.
Regal Eagle will also offer a variety of barbecue sauces, including a sweet BBQ sauce, a tangy mustard sauce and a vinegar-based sauce.
The restaurant will also feature an outdoor bar serving craft brews on draft.
Regal Eagle replaces Liberty Inn, which closed in July.
