According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the dinners may contain pieces of glass or hard plastic.

The Boneless Pork Rib Shaped Patty with BBQ Sauce and Mashed Potatoes were distributed to retail locations nationwide by Bellisio Foods.

The frozen meals have the following "best by" dates and lot numbers on the label:

  • 12/7/2019 (lot code: 8341)
  • 1/4/2020 (lot code: 9004)
  • 1/24/2020 (lot code: 9024)
  • 2/15/2020 (lot code: 9046)

The affected products also have "EST. 18297" stamped on the side of the package.

The issue was first discovered when consumers complained of finding glass or hard plastic material in the rib-shaped patty.

No injuries have been reported in relation to the recall, the USDA said.

The recall does not included products that are sold at Boston Market restaurants.

Consumers who bought the frozen dinners are urged not to eat them. Recalled products should be thrown away or returned to the store for a refund.
