KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Give Kids The World Village in Kissimmee debuted a new accessible swing ride on Thursday.
Kelly's Sunny Swing lets those who can't transfer from wheelchairs the opportunity to experience what it's like to ride a swing.
The ride, which can seat up to nine people, features a section that allows wheelchairs to be loaded onto the ride.
"It's so important that we make everything as accessible as possible for our visiting families," Give Kids The World President and CEO Pamela Landwirth said. "We're very excited to unveil this new attraction. It's going to bring a lot of joy to a lot of folks."
Kelly's Sunny Swing was named after a child who stayed at the resort in the early 90s. It's now the fourth wheelchair-accessible ride at the complex.
The ride was created and donated by Zamperla, an Italian manufacturing company.
