The launch window opens at 9:21 a.m. ET, according to the 45th Space Wing.
The 45th Weather Squadron is forecasting a 90 percent chance of favorable weather Saturday morning.
SpaceX pushed back the launch of its Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on Thursday because of stormy conditions across Central Florida.
The U.S. Air Force's GPS-3 satellite aboard the Falcon 9 rocket. It's the first in a third generation of satellites that Lockheed-Martin officials say will provide more accurate, secure and versatile information for the military and for the average person.
