ORLANDO, Fla. — SeaWorld Orlando is preparing for a weekend filled with festivities to celebrate Sesame Street Land’s fifth birthday.

The months-long celebration kicks off Saturday and runs through April 28. It will include birthday decor around the land, a new Sesame Street birthday parade, birthday story time with Big Bird, DJ dance parties, a Happy Birthday sing-along and themed crafts.
SeaWorld will also offer special character meet-and-greets, starting with Mr. Snuffleupagus from Jan. 27 through Feb. 4. He will be located next to the Cookie Drop attraction.
Other characters set to appear during the celebration include Murray (Feb. 10-11, 17-18), Baby Bear (Feb. 24-25 and March 2-3), and Honker and Dinger (March 9-10, 16-17).
For an additional fee, there will be a special Sesame Street Birthday Breakfast Bash on select days at the SeaFire Grill. The menu will include scrambled eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, bacon, French toast sticks, fruit, yogurt, cereal and more. The price is $34.99 for adults and $20 for children ages 3-9.
The Sesame Street Land birthday celebration begins the same weekend as SeaWorld’s Just for Kids Weekend, which will also include meet-and-greets with SeaWorld characters — including Puck, Shivers, Coral and more.
