LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Bob Weis, who retired from Walt Disney Imagineering last year, has received an honorary window at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The window was unveiled Monday morning during a ceremony attended by Weis, Disney World leaders and the Disney World ambassadors.
Located just above the Hollywood & Wine restaurant, the window reads, “Flower Street Pictures, Bob Weis, Studio Head, Our Productions Entertain the World.”
Weis spent more than 40 years with The Walt Disney Company before his retirement at the end of 2022. During his career with Disney, he worked on a variety of theme park projects, including the creation of Hollywood Studios (formerly Disney-MGM Studios).
Weis also served as president of Walt Disney Imagineering from 2016 to 2021.
