BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – The latest exhibit at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex features high-tech spacesuits worn by NASA astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley.

The spacesuits, which were worn during last year’s historic NASA and SpaceX Demo-2 mission, are on display near the complex’s Space Shuttle Atlantis attraction.
Some of the suits’ distinguishing features include 3D-printed helmets, touch-screen sensitive gloves and one-piece custom suits. The suits have been placed in transparent acrylic cases, allowing visitors to get a 360-degree view.
The suits will be on display for a limited time.
The complex has other spacesuits on display, giving visitors a chance to learn about the evolution of spacesuits. The displays included a replica of astronaut Bruce McCandless’ spacesuit and MMU used during the STS-41B spacewalk, Alan Shepard’s Moon-dust covered spacesuit and Mercury 7 astronaut Gus Grissom’s spacesuit.
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is currently operating with limited capacity due to COVID-19.
